Three dogs sit above an open crevice where a human form is inside trying to hold the dogs inside of the crevice. Inspired by artist Fransisco Goya, this piece depicts the monstrous watchdog of Greek mythology Cerberus. It's three heads represent the three values of strength, loyalty, and vigilance. Much like the middle class in America, people and families are often faced with adversity and deep struggles trying to manage fulfilling lives promised by the American Dream.
