The Alley

For this project, we were required to create a two-minute one-shot video. My idea was to tell a story between two main characters where one appears to be part of the scene at the beginning, then disappears the moment they enter the convenience store. When the main character searches for their friend, the viewer catches a moment when the character is seen running into an alley. As the character approaches they realize their friend is nowhere to be seen. The missing friend then appears next to the character, signifying that it was something else that the character saw disappearing into the alley. The scene ends backing away from the alley and panning to the two characters walking away together.
