During my Thanksgiving break my family and I did something completely out of the ordinary for us. We traveled to North Carolina to spend our Thanksgiving with their two friends from their 20s when they all lived together in Kill Devil Hills. Other than my parents two friends and their kid, I did not know a single person. I also needed to record a final film project for my class. This film showcases the wonderful characters my parents have surrounded themselves with over the years. Family comes in lottery tickets and you must keep what you get, but people will also find you along the way and call you their own, whether you know or not.
